Edward Food Research and Analysis Centre Limited (EFRAC) has implemented Safety Control Measures for Fighting against COVID-19 pandemic. In EFRAC, the management has adapted Five Guidelines for stopping the spread of COVID-19 among the Employees and Clients.

• Washing Hands Frequently
• Maintenance of Social Distance
• Observation of Respiratory Etiquette
• Cleaning and Sanitization of Workplace
In EFRAC, for reinforcing the basic Safety Guidelines several discussions, Qs & As, Posters, Signs, and Visual cues have been adapted. EFRAC being the Unique State of the Art Laboratory, the Management has also incorporated Administrative Controls in both Research Lab and Head Office for maintaining the Health Safety Protocols.
• Regular Body Temperature Checking
• Utilization of Calibrated, Infrared, Non-touchable Thermometers at the Entrance
• Encouraging Employees to inform the Authorities regarding COVID-19 symptoms
• Make Sure all the Employees and Clients Sanitize their hands before entering office premises
• Mandatory Vaccination for all the Employees
EFRAC has also been maintaining Workplace Hygiene to secure the Health Safety of the Employees and Staff Members.

• Cleaning of Garbage bins and areas
• Insisting Employees of Frequent Cleaning of Hands
• Discouraging of touching of Common surfaces
• Education for the Employees regarding Basic Health Hygiene
• Ensuring distance of 1 to 2 meters
• Making sure every Employee maintains 1 to 2 meters distance
• Limiting the Access areas at Workplace
• Prohibition of touching, handshaking, and hugging
EFRAC has tied up with Medical practitioners for offering better Health consultations for their Employees. The implementation of Medical Consultation has helped every employee of EFRAC in securing their health safety post the pandemic of COVID-19.
