Sugar Testing

Sugar is manufactured through the photosynthesis process from the leaves of the sugarcane plant. Sugarcanes are generally harvested and then shifted to the factories for the further manufacturing process. The sugarcane juice needs to be extracted and purified before crystallization into golden raw sugar. Sugar Industry has been flourishing as manufactured sugar has been used in various ways in the food industry.

Sugar Testing is the evaluation of the quality of the manufactured sugar. ICUMSA (International Commission for Uniform Methods of Sugar Analysis) is the most important analysis which determines the quality of the sugar. In EFRAC, ICUMSA Methods have been performed for offering standard Sugar Testing.

EFRAC is the NABL certified laboratory which offers various ranges of Sugar Testing and Analysis under the parameters of FSSAI for meeting all requirements of the Manufacturers and users of the Sugar Industry. EFRAC also maintains all kinds of standards for operating the analysis and testing of Sugar. In order to retain data confidentiality and traceability, equipment is compatible with LIMS which enables digitized integration of all the instruments through USFDA compliance software connected through a centralized server.
